Red

Red is a 2002 Tamil film directed by Singampuli and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The film stars Ajith Kumar and Priya Gill, while Manivannan, Salim Ghouse and Raghuvaran play pivotal roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Deva. The film won poor reviews but however went on to become a commercial success at the box-office. Particularly the film did run successfully in Madurai, where most of the scenes were filmed and created a huge fan following for Ajith.
