Raja is a 2002 Tamil film directed by Ezhil which stars Ajith Kumar, Jyothika and Priyanka Trivedi in the lead roles.It was dubbed into telgu as Nuvvu Naaku Kavali.

Nagesh, Sivakumar, Sayaji Shinde, Vivek also appear in supporting roles while Yukta Mookhey appeared in a solo item number. It was released in August 2001 to critical acclaim and commercial success.

Mugavari is a 2000 Tamil drama film directed by V. Z. Durai and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The film features Ajith Kumar in the lead role as a struggling musician with Jyothika, Raghuvaran, Vivek and K.Vishwanath playing supporting roles. The music is composed by Deva, whilst the film featured award-winning cinematrography by P. C. Sriram.

Vaali is a 1999 Tamil thriller film written and directed by S. J. Suryah. The film stars Ajith Kumar in a dual role with Simran appearing in another leading role. The supporting cast of the film include Jyothika in her debut venture, Livingston and Vivek. The film's music is composed by the music director, Deva while Jeeva was in charge of the cinematography. The film released on 1 May 1999 to critical acclaim and went on to become a commercial success.
