Varalaru

Varalaaru ('History') is a 2006 Indian Tamil film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Ajith Kumar in three roles as a father and his two sons, while Asin and Kanika also played leading roles. Ramesh Khanna, Suman Shetty, Sujatha and M. S. Baskar play other supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, while the film's cinematography is by P. C. Sreeram. The film was referred to as Godfather prior to release but entertainement tax exemption changes led to the film being renamed.

Attagasam is a 2004 Tamil film directed by Saran featuring Ajith Kumar in dual lead roles with Pooja playing the female lead. Sujatha, Karunas and Ramesh Khanna play pivotal roles in the film, while the score and soundtrack are composed by Bharathwaj and became a superhit at the box office.

Anjaneya

 Anjaneya is a 2003 Tamil film directed by Maharajan featuring Ajith Kumar, Meera Jasmine in lead roles with Raghuvaran, Ramesh Khanna, and Sarala in supporting roles. The film, produced by S. S. Chakravarthy, had its score and soundtrack composed by Mani Sharma. The film opened in October 2003 to mixed reviews.

Villain

Villan is a 2002 Tamil film directed by K. S. Ravikumar and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The film stars Ajith Kumar in a dual role while Meena and Kiran play female leads. Sujatha, Fesi Vijayan, Karunaas and Ramesh Khanna appear in other significant roles, while Vidyasagar composed the score and soundtrack for the film.
It opened to positive reviews and became a major box office success among Deepavali releases of 2002, with Ajith's performance leading to his second Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Amarkalam (Tamil: அமர்க்களம்; English: First Class) is a 1999 Tamil action film directed by Saran and produced by Venkateswaralayam. The film featured Ajith Kumar and Shalini in the lead roles with Raghuvaran, Raadhika and Nassar in other pivotal roles. The film opened in August 1999 to positive reviews from critics and became a commercial success.

Nee Varuvai Ena is a 1999 Tamil language film directed by Rajakumaran starring Parthiban and Devayani in lead roles, with Ajith Kumar in a guest appearance. Ramesh Khanna, Vijayakumar and Sathyapriya also play important roles. The film opened in August 1999 to positive reviews and performed well commercially.

Thodarum

Thodarum (Tamil: தொடரும்) (English: Will Continue) is a Tamil film directed by Ramesh Khanna featuring Ajith Kumar, Devayani and Heera in the leading roles. The supporting cast of Manivannan, Vadivelu and Gemini Ganesan also play pivotal roles in the film. It was released on 14 January 1999. The film was a remake of Telugu film Maavichiguru which itself was partially inspired from Malayalam film Kunkumacheppu. 

Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen (Tamil: உன்னிடத்தில் என்னை கொடுத்தேன்; English: I gave myself to you) is a 1998 Tamil film directed by Vikraman, starring Karthik and Roja in the lead roles, with Ajith Kumar in a guest appearance. Ramesh Khanna, Moulee and Madhan Bob played other supporting roles. The film released in August 1998 to a positive response from critics and immense box office success.
